Try Before You Buy!

We invite you to download ClipMate for a free, 30-day evaluation.  You can try all of the features to see if the program meets your needs.  Actually, you usually get more than 30 days, as it doesn't count days that you don't use the program. 

During the evaluation, all features are fully functional.  No features are missing or crippled.  There is a polite message during startup, and a "buy now" button. But other than that, the evaluation is identical to the fully-registered product. 

To try ClipMate, just download and install the program.  You get full use of the program for 30 days.

You can convert the evaluation version to the fully-registered version at any time during (or after) the 30-day evaluation by purchasing a license for continued use of the program.  Upon registering, you would receive an e-mail with a key that you enter into the program, which converts it to fully-registered mode, disabling the opening "nag" screen, hiding the "buy now" buttons, and enabling operation past the 30-day point. 

Note that our evaluation version does not "phone home", and you are not required to give us any information prior to downloading.  It does not contain any adware, spyware, and does not install or modify any system DLLs.  It has no effect on your system when it is not running.

Is It Safe?

We scan the software for Viruses prior to uploading.  By downloading the software directly from the author, or a trusted download source, you're ensured of "safe computing".  Also, our business model is 100% "Try Before You Buy". We do not try to make money by including any advertising, 3rd-party toolbars, or any other such nonsense that you often see "hitch-hiking" with "free" software. 

What is Shareware?

Shareware is a marketing method by which the author offers the software for an evaluation period, usually 15-30 days.  At the end of the evaluation period, the user must either purchase a license for continued use, or un-install the software.  Many companies, large and small, use the shareware concept to market their software directly to the end user, using various terms like Trial, Evaluation, Demo, and Shareware.  You can read more about shareware marketing at the site of the Association of Shareware Professionals.
