Linking To Our Site

We often have people ask us if it's ok to link to our site, and whether we have any graphics that they can use. It certainly is, and we certainly do!

 ClipMate's success is largely do to great word-of-mouth promotion. We're always glad to have ClipMate users mention ClipMate on their web pages, usenet postings, blogs, list server postings, chats, newsletters, etc.. We hope this page makes it easier for you to do so.

Where to link to:

To help us track the effectiveness of "friendly links" (links that people put up because they love ClipMate), we ask you to use the following link:

Substitute anything you'd like, in place of "yournamehere".  This lets us keep track of the effectiveness of the links program.  You can put in your domain name, your name, or, your company name, etc.
Remember, replace "yournamehere" with something!!  Seriously, people leave the referrer as "yournamehere". Consequently, "yournamehere" is our #1 referrer, and we have NO IDEA who to thank. 

You can simply link using text, or the graphics below.

Showing the graphic on your page is optional. We love it if you do, but don't require it if you don't have the space, bandwidth, or if it just doesn't "go well" with your page.
To download an image, just click on it, then you'll be on a page with just the graphic. Then do a Save As... call it clipmate.gif, and you have it.

Just pick any of the above graphics, copy it to your web site, and use this html, making the appropriate substitutions for your image directory, and your site name.

Please note that reciprocal link requests are handled on a case-by-case basis, and we typically only link to sites that are endorsed by our company, such as products that we use, or developers that we know, etc.  If you are promoting the latest and greatest porn, mp3, etc., site, don't bother asking for a link.
